AACCA is now USA Cheer!

The American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA) has merged with USA Cheer!ย  Be sure to update any bookmarks or links you may have had to the aacca.org page.

What you need to know:

  • USA Cheer is the national governing body for cheerleading in the Unites States as recognized by the International Cheer Union.
  • AACCA and USA Cheer merged in March of 2018 with AACCA executive director Jim Lord now serving as Director of Education and Programs.
  • The AACCA Cheerleading Safety Manual has been revised for the 4th time since 1990 and is now published as the USA Cheer Cheerleading Safety Manual.
  • The AACCA Cheerleading Safety Course is now the USA Cheer Safety and Risk Management Course (available on site and online at the USA Cheer and NFHS websites.)
