Restricted, Suspended, and Ineligible Persons List
Membership in USA Cheer is a privilege that can be denied or withdrawn at any time when a person’s conduct is determined to be inconsistent with the best interests of cheer and the athletes it serves. USA Cheer has reserved the right to publish a list of individuals whose membership has been restricted, suspended, or revoked related to athlete protection as well as individuals who are not USA Cheer members but would be ineligible for membership due to publicly available information regarding investigations, arrests, charges, or convictions related to athlete protection.
USA Cheer has the right to restrict, suspend, revoke, or deny membership in USA Cheer for actions the following reasons, by way of example and not limitation:
- Any person under criminal investigation for a crime that is not consistent with the rules, policies or standards of USA Cheer.
- Any person arrested for, charged with, or convicted of a crime that is not consistent with the rules, policies or standards of USA Cheer.
- Any conduct inconsistent with USA Cheer rules, policies or standards.
- Reports of misconduct currently under investigation by USA Cheer.
- Any action of misconduct reviewed by the Disciplinary Committee and determined to not serve the best interests of the disciplines of cheer or USA Cheer.
The following is a list of USA Cheer members, or individuals who have been known to participate in the sport of cheer and who are subject to temporary restrictions or temporary suspensions, or are ineligible, either permanently or for a period of time, for membership privileges in USA Cheer. It is not intended to be a historical record of members who may have been restricted, suspended, or ineligible previously.
Temporary restrictions and temporary suspensions are interim measures and are not a finding of misconduct under the USA Cheer Safe Sport Policy or Code of Conduct and should not be interpreted as such. Interim measures are intended to ensure the safety and well-being of the cheer and STUNT community; prevent conduct or participation detrimental to the sport or its reputation; prevent escalation of a reported Safe Sport violation; or limit the conduct of a participant who is the subject of a report while it is being investigated.

Non-members may be ineligible for current membership due to any arrest, charge, conviction or other publicly available allegations related to athlete protection regardless of whether or not the alleged conduct is related to their coaching duties. If you know of someone involved in cheer who is currently under investigation or has been arrested, charged, or convicted of a crime in connection with athlete abuse or abuse of minors who is not on this list, please complete this form, along with supporting documentation or links. Such non-members may be removed from the list if acquitted of the charges, however, this is not a determination that such individual would be eligible for membership in USA Cheer.
If you believe your name is on this list in error, fill out the following form, along with any supporting documentation.
We recommend that persons researching specific individuals also cross check other published lists of Ineligible or Suspended Memberships posted by other governing bodies, state associations, or youth-serving organizations.
Additionally, the U.S. Center for SafeSport has a searchable centralized disciplinary database. A thorough check of all available resources – in addition to proper screening by the program – can help identify candidates who are not suitable to work with youth.
