Concussion Education and Resources Hub

We need your help!  USA Cheer and UTHealth McCovern Medical School have teamed up for an important informational survey regarding concussions in cheer and STUNT!  We need coaches, parents, and athletes to take the following comprehensive survey, which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Click here for more information!

A concussion is an injury to the brain resulting from an impact to the head. Concussions are a risk for any athlete, including those participating in spirit activities due to the nature of the activity – often involving height, inversion and rotation of the body as well as physical interaction and contact with other team members.

USA Cheer has partnered with like-minded organizations and experts to provide education and resources to help raise awareness about concussions and to provide guidance on the management of concussions.
