DALLAS (February 1, 2024) – USA Cheer, the governing body for cheerleading in the United States, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kaitlyn Lyday as its new Marketing & Social Media Director. With an impressive background in both the cheerleading and marketing worlds, Kaitlyn brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the sport to her new role.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kaitlyn Lyday to our organization as the new Marketing Director as we continue to expand and professionalize our organization, communicate with our members and grow the opportunities available for athletes to participate,” said USA Cheer Executive Director Lauri Harris. “Her extensive experience in both cheerleading and marketing, along with her dedication to the sport, make her the ideal candidate for this role.”

In her professional career, Kaitlyn has held various marketing and leadership roles, including Marketing & Operations Liaison at the Universal Cheerleaders Association, Marketing Director at Urban Cheerleading Experience, and Social Media Manager at USA Cheer. Her experience in these roles has honed her marketing and organizational skills, making her a valuable addition to the USA Cheer team.

Kaitlyn Lyday is a graduate of Hofstra University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Fine Arts. Her educational background has provided her with a strong foundation in communication and creativity, which will undoubtedly benefit her work at USA Cheer.

Kaitlyn’s dedication to cheerleading is exemplified by her impressive spirit achievements, which include being a three-time UCA Small Coed DI National Champion and a two-time UCA All Girl Partner Stunt National Champion, among many other titles. She has also represented the United States as a member of the National Team, earning multiple ICU All Girl Premier World Champion titles and a Coed Premier Pan-American Champion title.

Kaitlyn’s passion for cheerleading and her marketing expertise make her the perfect fit for USA Cheer as they work to elevate the sport and engage with the cheerleading community on a national level.
