Braced Flip with Foot Connection – Bracer Drops to Load

Beginning with the 2026-27 season, braced flips can now have a hand-to-foot/feet connection as the only connection. However, if this is the only connection, there are additional restrictions. The top can’t go to a new set of catchers, the top can’t twist, and the bracer must be in a double based prep with a spotter. This wording means that they have to be “in” the double based prep with a spotter during the flip. They are not allowed to drop to a loading position as they would if there were an arm connection.
